Our monthly, secular, spiritual gatherings will enjoy sitting meditation, walking meditation, selected readings, songs, and dharma sharing. Occasionally we may also share guided meditation, deep relaxation, dharma presentations and other practices.

Our Sangha is especially supportive of new practitioners, so if you've never even tried meditation before, ours is the place for you. Bringing a pillow, blankets, and/or bolster may make sitting on the floor more comfortable. We have chairs if you prefer to use them.

Please arrive a few minutes early, enjoy the bench we made for you to remove your shoes, and enter the practice floor silently, so as to support our friends in their mindfulness efforts.

During a week-long mindfulness meditation retreat at Blue Cliff Monastery, Bruce Costa receives a brilliant answer from Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh about Buddhist views on attachment, discrimination, and violence.

This is Bruce Costa in a mindful interview with Joe Ferry and Corey Armideo of PBR Productions. Featured in the discussion is FOCUS, the film about mindfulness that Sensei Costa wrote and, with director/editor Lisa Meehan, created with the karate students of Granite Forest Dojo.

The Five Mindfulness Trainings are among the most meaningful ways to practice mindfulness. They are nonsectarian, and their nature is universal. Feel welcome to download these true practices of compassion. If you print the document double-sided, you can fold them into a nice booklet.
